Flat Tuesday...

Happy Wednesday everyone!

So yesterday was a great day..............................I got my first flat tire EVER. On the highway {of course}.  I don't know about you but do not know how to change a flat tire!  I never had to learn since I never had one, and my Dad never taught me.

Soooo, here I am on the highway on my way back from lunch to the office, and after driving on my flat for like 2 miles, I realize that loud noise is in fact MY car....and it is in fact MY tire which is making it difficult to go fast.  I pull over and immediately call my husband {whom I know is at work and most likely can't answer the phone} and he doesn't answer so I text him basically saying WHAT DO I DO? I realize at this point, we don't have AAA so that's not an option.  I'm out of warranty with my MINI so their Roadside Assistance will probably cost me a bunch, so I realize that's more of a last resort.

I then decide to call my Mom.......who lives in Miami, Florida.  Yes, I call from Ohio to Miami to say I have a flat  She doesn't answer either!  So now after digging through my MINI booklet, I decide to call my office to just let them know where I am and that I'll be late coming back to the office.  Luckily, my co-worker who I called was like "Oh, let me ask if any of the guys around the office can come help you". Sounds good to me!

5 minutes later, she calls me back saying my boss and another co-worker are coming to my rescue!  20 minutes later they were there, and it took them all of 15 minutes to get it changed!  I felt like an idiot but there was no way I could figure out how to change this tire.  I spent 20 minutes reading in my manual about where the tire tool kit was in my car and where the spare tire was even located! Luckily, I have very helpful co-workers who came to my rescue so they both got fresh baked cookies from me this morning!

I must admit....this all could have been prevented!  My car lets me know when my tires are low and the symbol had been on for like months.  The reason I was ignoring it is because when the temperature drops, the light always comes on!  Since I've had the MINI, its always done this and when I've asked the dealership about it, they said that's normal {has something to do with the cold and the pressure}.  So, I just kept ignoring it thinking "Oh it wasn't that long ago that I put air in the tires."  Yea......learned my lesson!

I also was due to get all my tires changed.......back in November! Are you sensing a pattern here?  I may be prone to putting stuff off when it comes to my car....  So needless to say, when I went after work to get a new tire, I had to get all 4 because my other 3 were really bad.  I just hate how much it costs to get things fixed or work done on your car!

So anyway, that's the story of my first flat tire!  Have any of you had flat tires before?  What did you do?

Happy News for Giuliana & Bill!

If you've been following my blog for a while, you'll know that my favorite celeb is definitely Giuliana Rancic!  I've been watching her TV show since it started and was so sad to find out she had breast cancer.  I had a feeling that her getting pregnant was just not in her cards, but I was soooo happy to find out yesterday on the Today Show that they are pregnant via surrogacy!!

Have any of you been watching this season of Giuliana & Bill?  I have and last week's episode was about the option of surrogacy, so I had a feeling that if they were successful in that, they'd be making an announcement soon since we'll all be seeing it on their TV show this season!  They say they're due in late Summer and they know the sex of the baby but aren't telling anyone yet. I'm crossing my fingers they'll have a girl!

What I love the most about their TV show is that it doesn't feel staged in any way.  They've decided to be completely open about their struggles with fertility, and now Giuliana's breast cancer, and I love that.  They're not hiding behind a celebrity facade of perfection.  They're real and what you see on TV is them plain and simple.  There is no Kardashian-like feel to the show, where you know things are staged or scripted a certain way.

And to me, the most endearing part of the show is just how much Giuliana and Bill love each other. They are incredibly supportive and loving towards one another, despite the hardships they've been through. They just seem like such great people......I know if Giuliana knew me, we'd be besties for sure! :-)

I'm just so happy that there is a "light at the end of the tunnel" for them now with the upcoming birth of their child!  And don't get me started on how cute Giuliana's parents are!

Are you watching Giuliana & Bill this season?

Coachella Style...thumbs up or down?

Happy Tuesday everyone!  I've recently taken a little blogging break due to some writers block, but I'm back, being revived from the dead by Coachella!  Ok, more like fascinated by this massive music festival in which celebs come out of the woodwork and intermingle with us "commoners" like its no biggie, and high-fashion goes completely out the door, being replaced by Birkenstocks, fringe, and flower headbands. Let's take a look, shall we?

Lea Michelle and LC {Side note: I'm totally wearing those same shoes today as Lea but in black}:

Paris Hilton.....ugh of course....

Vanessa Hudgens being the poster child for Coachella:

Katy Perry looking a little more rocker than hippie, but I enjoy her hair color more than that ugly blue she was sporting recently:

Emma Watson & Lily Collins:

Lindsay Lohan looking like she missed the note on how to dress for this:

Dree Hemmingway looking super cute!

And of course, lots and lots of celeb lovin' going on!

Joshua Jackson & Diane Kruger:

Vanessa Hudgens & Austin Butler:

Fergie & Josh Duhamel:

Emma Roberts & Chord Overstreet:

My recent FAVS, Nina Dobrev & Ian Somerholder {I just watched both seasons 1 & 2 on Netflix of the Vampire Diaries and I'm obsessed! I'm currently really upset I have to wait until season 3 finishes on TV before I can watch it on Netflix.  I also had no idea these 2 were dating in real life until this week...they make a good couple though.  Not gonna lie...def had a dream about smooching with Ian Somerholder though....}:

Kate Bosworth & Michael Polish:

Lauren Conrad with Shawn Pyform (from Desperate Housewives), who she insists is "just a friend"...doesn't look like it to me!

What did you think of the style at Coachella?  Have you ever been it before?  I haven't but I kinda want to go now....mainly to do some celeb watching! :)

Have a great rest of the day!
