Happy Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend!

First, thank you all for the sweet birthday wishes!  Although, my actual birthday wasn't really that exciting being that I was at work and then spent the night alone since Doc was on call.....I did get to celebrate all weekend long with friends and family so that made up for it {the beautiful pink roses Doc bought me also made up for it!}

I did some shopping over the weekend with my birthday money {gotta love guilt free shopping!} so once I'm done spending it all, I will give you a shopping haul post to show what I got!

So as you know, I've been reading 50 Shades of Grey and I finished it on Friday.  Final consensus: LOVED it!  I realize that this er...type of book...might not be for everyone but I really liked it!  Its not just about sex--the story definitely evolves and its interesting to see the character development. I just ordered the next 2 on Amazon so I can't wait to dive back in!  I heard talks of them making this into a movie, but I honestly don't know how that would happen!  The whole attraction and hype around this book is that it is basically book porn.  If you were to make that into a movie, you're making porn and you can't just show that on big screen!  If you were to take the graphic nature out of it.......I feel like you're taking away from it.  Anyone else agree?  I also heard they want Emma Stone to play Anastasia.............while I can see why, I'm not sure she would show nudity and that character needs to!  Will be interesting to see....

Have any of you read the 50 Shades series?  What did you think?

Hope your birthday was wonderful! I have read 50 Shades yet but everyone is raving about it. Maybe it will make my summer reading list!

So regarding 50 Shades...I had a hate/love relationship with it. I hated that I was so addicted. I liked books 1 and 2, but felt like it couldve ended there. They were pushing the story for book #3 and the story line felt forced.
